Scrambled or fried?

Sometimes the simple things are the best.  Walking through Burnham Norton to collect fresh organic eggs from a neighbour, our most difficult decision - scrambled or fried?

Taking time out to walk and cycle around Holkham Hall, we loved the huge vistas across the fields; a colour-blocked landscape in shades of green, yellow and blue.

Grassy paths created by deer footprints cross the William Kent landscape leading to the Monument; a fluted column topped with sheaves of wheat. It’s a deeply eccentric Victorian sculpture, depicting an ox, a plough, a sheep and a seed-drill, built to commemorate the pioneering crop rotation techniques introduced by the Earl of Leicester during the agricultural revolution.
